Use of gas cylinders are governed by Gas Cylinder Rules, 2004.  As per this and BIS norms, all gas cylinders have to be periodically subjected to hydraulic stretch test for determining the efficiency of the cylinder to hold the gas it is meant to service.

Kalinga Gases Pvt. Ltd. has been licensed by the Petroleum & Explosives Safety Organisation (PESO), Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, to conduct this test for cylinders servicing CO2 gas.

The facilities maintained for the test procedure strictly adhere to the norms laid down by the concerned office.  Experienced technical personnel are available to ensure proper checking and testing of cylinders.  If the cylinder passes the test, it is stamped with the date of testing, and a certificate is issued for the same.  Should it fail the test, it is cut into pieces for disposal
